Today we meet fellow strugglers, Bashley in a vital match for us. Due to finances Bashley have suffered even more than us but are now expected to stay in the Southern League, albeit in a lower division. I will try to look at any good points there may be in this performance, and sincerely hope that no one will boycott the game.

A spirited performance but we came so close to losing again to a side in the same boat as ourselves. Should have been four up in the first half. Kynan had a good first forty-five, yes Kynan! As did both of the new players & Dumbleton and Green. One of the Bashley goals was a bit special but the defence appeared to fall apart for the other two.

No comments on Saturday`s game. Now we keep an eye on the difficult match in Poole. Anyone going, please place a brief report and result here. I think we have only four home games remaining including the midweek game against Biggleswade. Also included tough matches against St Albans, and Cambridge on the last day of the season. We definitely need a result at Bedford?

A 4-1 loss at Poole. It was expected and it is difficult to see our youngsters picking up many points before the end of the season. There must be a chance of getting something at Bedford next time out. Even a point would be handy.

Unable to go last night but what a win. 4-2 down at half-time and coming back to win 6-4 against Biggleswade. With Toton losing we are now safe from relegation. Well done Players and Edwin!

Back down to fourth with the defeat at Chippenham. Understand we had our chances which we did not take and also struck the woodwork and went close on several ocassions. Good to know we cannot be relegated after Tuesday`s performance. Result 2-0.

OK so no one seems brave or interested enough to post on my site. So I will sit here in limbo throughout close season wondering whether we will have a team in the Southern Premier, Southern Midland Hellenic or Senior League next season. So be it. It`s a good job I like cricket also.

A 1-0 win at Weymouth with a very good performance, the best for some time I am told with keeper Dutton from Wolves having a cracker. Were you there, tell us about the game and the day out . And see Shadders` report on the United Website. Now it St Albans at home on Saturday.

Stourbridge 5 Banbury United 0. Comments on our other thread. If you went please comment on either. An expensive night for United with only 45 turning up for the semi-final second leg. As I am no longer able to attend many night matches I was one of them. At least United did the job and won 4-0 with Olney playing a stand in keeper I understand. If you were one of the 45, please post any comments on the game here. A full Shadders report is on the United Website. Just one more game to go now against second placed Cambridge who are in the play-offs. We have been a bit of a bogey team in the past, I wonder? no not really!.

let`s be kind at this the last match of the season, against the team in second place, Cambridge! Whatever the score, and it could be massive, we can give these players a good send off. One hope is that our defence and midfield improve and Cambridge, already in the playoffs may not be much bothered? Swallow your own pride supporters and also applaud Edwin on what may or may not be his last game?

Men against boys again and beaten 5-1, isn`t that the eighth time this season that we`ve conceded five in a match?. Talibi had a good game and his goal was special. And without Fishwick and Dutton it would have been a cricket score. That`s it then, I wonder what sort of team and budget we will have next season and will the board ever have an AGM or EGM, I doubt it? Good luck to Cambridge in the playoffs!
